Our goal for this trip is to have a spirit filled bonding experience with our church sisters. We hope that these getaways will help us to have a deeper understanding and love for one-another, be able to discuss our struggles and explore different ways to grow closer to God. There will be down time, time for fellowship, crafts, devotions and games. We will worship together at the vacation home on Sunday morning.


DATES: The dates are Friday, October 16 - Monday, October 19. This trip is to Table Rock Lake in Branson, Missouri. (We will NOT see a play this year as they are still playing David at Sight and Sound, we saw it last year).


CARPOOLING: For those of you that live in the Independence area and are able to leave Friday morning, we plan to meet at the Gathering Place around 10:00 AM, please pack a lunch and we will eat on the way. For those of you that have to work on Friday, we will organize a group that will leave after work to carpool together.


LODGING: We rented a two level 8 bedroom/8-bathroom vacation home on Table Rock Lake, the home will accommodate 32 guests and features 2 kitchens, 2 laundry rooms, a beautiful covered deck, fireplace, outdoor firepit, grill and game room. The check-in is 4:00 PM Friday and check-out is 10:00 AM Monday. There are bedroom options on the main level if you are unable to do stairs.


REGISTRATION FEE: The cost will be $200 per person. This is the price if you are staying 2 nights or if you are staying 3 nights, as we do not get a price break if we leave early. This price includes lodging and food (Gas will be $20 for carpooling). You can choose to prepay or you can pay before we leave for the trip.

Registration Total: $200 if you are staying 2 or 3 nights.


We are asking for registrations to be turned in ASAP so we can get the menu, schedule, room assignments, carpool and events planned for the weekend. The vacation home is already reserved.
